Martin Gill

Martin Gill was appointed Managing Director of leading British luxury bedmaker Vispring in 2023. Having been Managing Director of Vispring’s sister company And So to Bed since 2017, Martin now leads both companies.

With a career spanning more than 30 years in the furniture and luxury interiors sector, Martin was previously Global Sales Director and UK Managing Director for German kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl and Group COO for luxury British brand, Smallbone Kitchens.

Since taking on the role at Vispring, Martin’s directorship has seen the launch of the brand’s first flagship store in London’s prestigious Regent Street St. James’s, along with continued global expansion, to over 60 countries and export sales rising to over 60 per cent. Vispring is now represented in more than 650 retail outlets, including 50 monobrand stores worldwide, and has achieved the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2025.

A lifetime working in the interiors industry has provided Martin with an in-depth expertise and knowledge of the global, luxury market, helping him to shape business strategies of the future.

He states his passion is the sense of global community, with colleagues, suppliers and partners within the Vispring brand, alongside the challenge of making change that drives business growth in a global market. His aim, to continue Vispring’s legacy, building on its already rich 125-year history and bespoke, handcrafted product that welcomes each customer home.
