Joanna Zhou works at Glencairn Crystal Studio, the creator of the iconic Glencairn Glass, widely celebrated in the whisky industry. In her role, she focuses on unlocking growth opportunities across Asia through e-commerce, retail and trade channels.

Before joining Glencairn, Joanna played a pivotal role in building Holland & Barrett’s business in China, driving its expansion through the cross-border e-commerce model. With deep knowledge of the Chinese market and extensive expertise in internationalisation, she has helped leading British brands connect with global consumers.

Glencairn Crystal Studio is a Scottish leader in glassware and crystal ware, which is honoured to be 1 of 11 recipient of the 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise. It is renowned for creating the world’s favourite whisky glass, the Glencairn Glass, which has been sold 50 million units in more than 140 countries.
